YOUR PARKS. YOUR VISION.

OPRD’s South Beach and Beverly Beach Management Units stretch between Lincoln City and Yachats on Oregon’s Central Coast. Together they contain:

  •      3 state parks

  •      2  state natural areas

  •      2 state scenic viewpoints

  •      1 whale watching center

  •      15 state recreation sites/areas

  •      2 state waysides

  •      and more than 40 miles of ocean shore

OPRD is taking a comprehensive look at state parks in the South Beach and Beverly Beach Management Units. Between 2014 and 2016, staff will be reviewing existing conditions, analyzing needs, and creating a plan to keep these parks healthy into the future. You can join the planning effort by attending public meetings and sharing your vision for Oregon state parks on the Central Coast.
